Link to Hope Family and Elderly Shoebox Appeal

We're joining in with Link to Hope's Shoebox Appeal again this year, collecting gifts to be distributed to families and elderly people across Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Bulgaria this Christmas. Look out for Helen Cook and Clair Ellensohn on Sunday, who will have leaflets with full details. Start sourcing your shoeboxes (approx 30 x 18 x 10cm) and gathering items to fill them (visit their website for ideas, or download a list).

We'll be collecting filled shoeboxes here at Christ Church until 12th November, when they'll be delivered to the charity.

This year, we'll also have a 'swap box' in the lounge for shoebox contents. If you have any spare items (perhaps you've bought a multi-pack), or you are unable to fill a whole shoebox yourself, but would still like to contribute, please add your donations to the box. If you've started filling a shoebox at home, and are missing one or two finishing touches, feel free to have a look and take what you need to complete your box.

Visit the Link to Hope website to find out more about the important work being done by this charity.

There are a number of people in our congregation with health conditions which make them especially vulnerable. If you have any symptoms associated with coronavirus, please stay home from church. Let's continue to do all we can to help keep each other safe.
